What this service is

We publish a record of USTA league results and, on top of it, our own estimate of where a player’s NTRP rating currently sits. The estimate is computed by us. It is not USTA’s rating, it is not produced by USTA, and it will sometimes differ from what USTA publishes.

The estimate comes with no guarantee

We work hard to make the estimate accurate and we publish how it is graded. But it is an estimate, and we give no warranty that it is correct for any particular player or any particular purpose.

Please do not treat it as an official rating. It is not a basis for deciding a lineup you care about, seeding a draw, appealing a rating, or anything with consequences for somebody else. If a decision matters, use USTA’s published number.

Your account and what you write

An account is optional. If you create one, keep your email secure, and tell us if you think somebody else has access to it.

Notes, scores and other things you write stay yours. We do not claim ownership of them. You give us only the permission needed to store them and show them back to you, and to the specific people you deliberately share them with. We do not publish them, sell them, or use them to train anything.

When you record a match against somebody, you may type their name. Keep it to real records of real play. Do not use these fields for anything abusive about another person.

Using the service fairly

Please do not:

• scrape, bulk-download or republish the data here as your own dataset;
• try to break, overload or work around the security of the site;
• use it to harass anybody, or to build a profile of somebody for that purpose;
• imply that you are us, or that USTA endorses you or us.

Reading the site normally, looking people up, and sharing a page are all fine. That is what it is for.

If you have a page here and do not want one

Write to privacy@trackmyrating.com and we will remove it and keep it out of future updates. The privacy policy explains what we hold and why.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time at trackmyrating.com/delete-account. We may suspend or close an account that is being used to break these terms, and we will say why unless there is a good reason not to.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any rating, estimate or statistic is accurate.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for any loss arising from a decision you or anybody else made on the basis of a rating or estimate shown here. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months, or one hundred US dollars.

Some places do not allow some of these exclusions, in which case they do not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will say so on the site rather than relying on you to re-read this page, and the date at the top always tells you when it last changed. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, and any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located there.
